Sometime last year, I worked for someone whom I also lent some money to.
For about three months, no payment wasn’t made for my work done; notwithstanding, I lent him the money because of the fact that he was broke and promised to pay back.
The total money for both the one I lent him and the service I rendered which he never paid for amounts to over 300k.
One month passed, then two, till it got into this year; yet no payment was made, no call or any form of apology from this person. When it dawned on me that the person wasn’t willing to pay back my money, I decided to use the money to enroll for his service, since I needed the service.

He promised to deliver. But from then till now, my money wasn’t refunded, the service wasn’t rendered. No explanation. My calls weren’t answered. No apologies. Nothing!

This is someone who has a family like me. This was someone I assisted because he was broke at the time and I trusted he would refund.
I felt cheated, used, insulted, embarrassed… Just name it! I felt he treated me like a nobody and never cared about me.
But despite everything he did to me, God specifically told me never to have any issue with him. In fact, I had to completely give up everything and let things go.
It was hard, but I did as instructed. But looking back today, I am glad I obeyed God.
Looking back today, I feel God has returned everything the man took from me and even more. Today, I now understand better why God said I should never quarrel with him.
When I think of all that had happened, all I can just say is that your association can truly mar you and make you. Imagine all I had to go through when I earnestly needed that money.
If you want to go far in life and live a life of wealth, you need the right association. You don’t want to ever have anything to do with people who will treat you like a nobody.
