HOW TO LIVE A COMPLETE LIFE

I believe it’s everyone’s desire to live a complete life. But more often than not, we discover that people seldom live a fulfilled and successful life.

It is disheartening that despite the desires people have to live a fulfilled life; it is only few people who actually live a successful life.

The richest place on earth is not in the wonderful skyscrapers in Dubai neither is it in the seven wonders of the world. The richest place on earth is in our mortuary, there so many gifts had been buried, of people who failed to live a complete life.

Living a complete life has nothing to do with your material possessions. It has nothing to do with whether you are literate or illiterate; affluent or poor; it has nothing to do with your status in the society; it has nothing to do with whether you are beautiful or ugly. But living a complete life has a lot to do with how you are able to pragmatically maximize God’s purpose for you in this world.

When we talk about living a complete life, some people’s mind go straight to freedom — living a free life. But many seldom understand the true meaning of the concept of freedom.

Some people believe when they live by the dictate of their emotions, then they are free. However, true emancipation doesn’t mean living by the dictate of your emotions. True emancipation has to do with living your life by the dictate of the Word of God—living the way God would have you live it.

When the Word of God is dominating someone’s life, that Word is moderating that person’s life. Before that person act, he will remember what the Word says, hence that person will ultimately fulfill God’s purpose for his life.

What is the ultimate purpose of God for humanity? Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep his commandments: for this is the whole DUTY of man.”

We can also translate that word ‘Duty’ to be purpose. “Fear God and keep his commandment, that is the whole purpose of man.” The ultimate purpose of God for you is to serve and keep His commandment. Anything short of that is absolute failure.

In the day of reckoning — the day we will all stand before God to give account of what we have done in this world — what will matter is whether we are saved. Any other thing will be irrelevant. You were affluent, famous, and influential will be irrelevant. All those will go with this world. Therefore, it behooves us today to ensure we live every day of our lives as God would have us live them.

A complete man is a fulfilled man. He is a joyful man; not enslaved by his emotions and desires; he mortifies his flesh and brings everything into captivity anything that tries to exalt itself above God.

God is no respecter of persons. You might live as you please and think you are getting away with it, but one day, your nemesis will catch up with you. Remember, the Bible says “God reserves the ungodly for the day of judgement.”

I want to tell you one truth today: if you want to live a complete life, you must be ready to lay everything at the feet of Jesus. You have a great price to pay. Nothing good comes cheap. If you want to gain everything, you must be ready to let go of everything.

When the way of man pleases God, every good thing will follow that man. I want to tell you what you ought to do is to ensure that you are at the centre of God’s own will- that is the safest place to be on earth. You can never be misled if you give yourself to Jesus.

Today, people seek for success in different angles, but I present you the surest way to success: just surrender yourself to God, and you see that your life will be productive; you will no longer be an impractical idealist, rather, you will pragmatically be realistic about life. You will live your life in its fullness.

Paul was highly educated, yet he was not productive. He was working against himself, but when he came in contact with the King of kings, and contracted a wonderful relationship with Him, be became a successful man.

You can be very educated and still be working against yourself. You can go to all the motivational speaker in the world, but if you remove God from your life, you will be miserable and fruitless.

Do you want to live a complete and happy life? Give Jesus a chance in your life, and you will discover that that is the best decision you can ever make here on earth.

What God will do to your life will be wonderful. He is going to change the cause of your life and everything will be wonderful for you. Do you want to live a complete life? This is the surest way for you.

Don’t linger complacently anymore. Tell Jesus to come into the boat of your life, and He will command all storms to still in your life. God bless you.

I’m Emmanuel, the exceptional being.
